Using classroom and hands on lab training the On Services field engineer delivers the quality of communication and work skills that sets On Services apart from everyone else.
On Services training program focuses on the application, installation, and operation of UPS systems and storage batteries. The theory of operation and the routine testing, troubleshooting and maintenance of a typical three phase uninterruptible power system are thoroughly covered, as are the safety precautions to be observed when working with these systems.
The UPS training covers:

  • Understanding the Basic Building Blocks Common to all UPS Systems;
  • Have a knowledge of the Construction and Operation of the Major Types of Industrial UPS Systems;
  • Understand how to Maintain and Performance Test Lead-Acid and Ni-cad Battery Systems;
  • Identify the Hazards and Safe Work Practices Related to UPS Systems and Batteries;

On Services also provides first responder training. The course is designed to assist the customer in understanding the fundamentals of power flow and operation of the UPS through classroom lecture and reinforced in practical hands-on application. In the event of an alarm the First responder will understand the course of action needed to prevent load loss or damage to the system.
